Chris Sanders is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as lead guitarist for the heavy-metal band Lizzy Borden and has also worked with Nadir D'Priest. Sanders has performed at music festivals and stadium size concert events.
History
Lizzy Borden
Sanders joined the band Lizzy Borden in 2007, He toured, and performed with Lizzy Borden on their U.S./U.K. tours which included billings at some rock & heavy-metal music festivals such as Rocklahoma(U.S.), KobetaSonik (Spain), The Sweden Rock Festival (Sweden), Bang Your Head (Germany) June 2008, and Keep It True (Germany).
Nadir D'Priest
Also in 2007 Sanders joined forces with Nadir D'Priest. Critics compared Sanders playing style to the late Randy Rhodes saying "I was reminded of another young guitarist I once had the pleasure of seeing ...; The guitarist was none other than Randy Rhoads". Chris is also seen on the The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years. As part of London (heavy metal band) they performed many shows on the Sunset Strip and had several guest appearances on local radio InterViews.
Early in 2007 Sanders performed regularly with Happening Harry and the Haptones along with several special guests from top metal ensembles like W.A.S.P., Quiet Riot, Yngwie Malmsteen, L.A. Guns, Odin, Bang Tango and others.
Other MusicAL projects
In 2009 Chris Sanders joined other musicians to record with the Northern Light Orchestra contributing as lead guitarist on the song "Feel the Warmth". (Release date October 20, 2009) He also appears in the music video for "Under Your Skin" performing both piano and guitar.
