Chase Patton

Chase Patton (born November 24, 1985, in Columbia, Missouri) is an American football quarterback. He graduated from the University of Missouri in December of 2008 with a bachelors degree in biology.

High school career

Patton played under both Barry Odom and A.J. Ofodile at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri. He played football and also lettered in baseball and basketball.

College career

2004

Patton was redshirted for the 2004 season.

2005

Patton did not see game action during the 2005 season, but entered fall camp listed at No. 3 on the depth chart. He Changed his jersey number from 4 to 14 just after spring practice started.

2006

Patton served as a reserve for the 2006 season. Was listed as the No. 3 quarterback all season, seeing action in 1 GAME, getting some snaps in game #2 against Ole Miss.

2007

Patton saw action in a career-high 10 games on the season. Took one snap in the season opener against Illinois, filling in for an injured Chase Daniel before Daniel was able to return. Was 3-of-5 passing for 19 yards against Western Michigan, running the ball twice for 39 yards and one touchdown. Completed two passes for 33 yards against Illinois State.

2008

Patton competed with returning starter Chase Daniel for the starting job in the fall, Patton finished the season #2

NFL Career

Patton tried out with the Chicago Bears after going undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft. However, he was not signed.

Personal

Patton was married to long-time girlfriend Ashley in Columbia in May 2007. Patton is the son of Robert & Joyce Patton
