Charlie "Big Time" Bigelow
Charlie Bigelow is a character of DC Animated Universe. He is an antagonist on the show Batman Beyond. Stephen Baldwin was the first who provides Bigelow's voice then later Clancy Brown.
Fictional character biography
One of the characters to have the most influence on Terry's childhood was Charlie Bigelow, a young swindler who dragged Terry into a life of crime after he ran away from home following his parents' divorce. When Charlie was 18 and Terry was 14, Charlie decided to prove himself to a gang, dragging Terry along for a heist. Unfortunately, they were arrested and Terry was sentenced three months in the juvenile hall. Since Charlie was old enough, he was sentenced three years in prison. After this, Terry carried a guilty feeling toward Charlie; he would e-mail Charlie periodically while he was in prison.
After Charlie is finally released, he reunited with Terry and try to get him back to the life of crime. Terry, now older with responsibilities since his father's death, refused, instead arranging a job for Charlie at Wayne-Powers Enterprises with his mentor Bruce Wayne. Unfortunately, Charlie used this as an opportunity of a heist for the company's rival of stealing an experimental [...]. Bruce and Terry figure out what Charlie was doing, and Terry heads to Wayne-Powers to stop his friend and partners. During the fight, Charlie is accidentally exposed to the [...], which disfigures him into a monstrous hulking appearance, and drives him insane.
Charlie again appeared in Terry's life, kidnapping him for another heist. Terry once again refuses, and instead suggests Charlie should seek a cure of his condition. However, Charlie makes it clear to Terry that he merely sees him only as hired muscle. Terry finally lets go of his guilt toward Charlie and sees him for the monster that he really is.
