Chad Painchaud
Chad Painchaud (born 27 May 1986 in Mississauga, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who is currently playing for the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.
Playing career
Between the 2004 and 2006 seasons, Painchaud played in the Ontario Hockey League with the Mississauga IceDogs and Sarnia Sting. He was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 4th round (106th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Between the 2006–07 and 2009–10 seasons, Painchaud bounced between the AHL and the ECHL, playing for the Gwinnett Gladiators, Chicago Wolves, Bakersfield Condors, Iowa Chops, Salmon Kings, and the Manitoba Moose. On September 26, 2008, his NHL rights were traded by the Thrashers, along with Ken Klee and Brad Larsen, to the Anaheim Ducks for Mathieu Schneider.
