Centre for Middle East and Africa Studies
A Turkish NGO and research center. It is a sister organization of International Strategic Research Organization (ISRO – USAK).
ISRO Center for Middle East and Africa Studies (CMES) is a leading Turkish research centre for promoting knowledge of all aspects of the Middle East and Africa. The center is located in the ISRO central offices in Mebusevleri, Ankara. The aim of the centre is to provide information, advice and a forum on Middle Eastern and Africa studies.
The CMES is regularly consulted by journalists, officials, politicians, diplomats, and other NGOs on the Middle Eastern security and politics. The centre staff regularly contributes to the ISRO publications and organize meetings on the Middle Eastern studies.
The CMES arranges programs of lectures, seminars, conferences and other discussions, and sponsors research and publications. It is financed by the ISRO.
