Cadwork Corp (known as Cadwork Informatik in Europe), a Software company based in Basel, has been founded by Andreas Walther and Jean-Philippe Eschbach in 1988. During its history, the Corporation has grown into small entities (subsidiaries) over the World (Lausanne, Hildesheim, Montreux, St-Gall, Montreal).

Cadwork is a World leader software editor in the Timber market CAD systems and a Swiss leader in the Civil engineering market (road, Reinforced concrete, GIS).

  • 1980: developpement of cadwork started at the CSEM1
  • 1982: further developpement has been taken by EPFL
  • 1988: cadwork informatik AG created in Basel and Lausanne
  • 1990: cadwork informatik Gmbh created in Hildesheim
  • 1992: cadwork Rohner created in St-Gall
  • 1999: cadwork SA created in Blonay
  • 2003: cadwork canada subsidiary created in Montréal
  • 2006: cadwork lexo-team subsidiary created in Brno
  • 2008: 2300 clients timberwork and 500 clients civil-engineering
