Cadet College Palandri, is a Military High School, located in Palandri, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.

History

Cadet College Palandri was announced in 1976, by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the then prime minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan long with 2 other cadet colleges at Larkana and Mastung. Instability at that time and later some unseen problems preventd this dream from being realized until 1991, when Benazir Bhutto, the then Prime Minster of Pakistan released funds for this college for the 1st time but again a Horrible flood in 1992 stopped every proceeding. Again in 1998 Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhary, the then PM of Azad State of Jammu and Kashmir appointed Brigadier (retd) Akbar as project director and the Principal of the college, who rendering untiring services and puting in restless efforts fulfilled all the pre-requsites and the first batch of students joined the college on 13th September, 1998 comprising of 47 students. The formal inauguration was held on the next day, and 15th Sep 1998 was the day when the teachers commenced the sacred duty of passing the knowledge on to the students.
