British beef
British Beef is a British Pop punk band formed in 2004 in Greenbridge, Swindon, UK. They were signed to Sony on a six-month developmental contract and currently have a publishing deal with Fat Fox.
History
British Beef formed in 2004 as a punk rock band doing Rancid and NOFX covers in the bottom of a garden in Greenbridge, Swindon. People came and went within the band and they eventually started to write their own material and play venues all over southwest Wiltshire. The band eventually gained a manager and started recording in London The first recording was the E.P. Foot In Mouth. After a short break band went into the studio again with production team Goldust and created the Something Else E.P.
After several line-up changes, British Beef gained a six month development contract with SONY and secured a publishing deal with Fat Fox. The band released their first single Without Me on a limited vinyl print CD and had the video aired on both Kerrang and Scuzz.
The members of the band at this time were: Felix Milburn-Foster - Lead Vocals & Guitar Gaz Brookfield - Vocals & Bass Jam Lindsay - Lead Guitar Pat Smith - Drums
Felix and Pat went on to form a band called Fire In Cairo, with two other men, one of which being Pat's twin brother. Gaz went on to create his own music. Jam also continued in other bands.
