Brent Bambic
Brent Bambic (born June 30, 1970) is an Award Winning American Writer, Director and Producer. He May Be best known for his indie hit Runaways, followed by his Cannes Film Festival Market Release Exploring Love, and the upcoming Beelzebub.
Raised in Southern California, Brent originally studied film at UCLA and the prestigious American Film Institute.
He began his professional career as a screenwriter. As a screenwriter he sold two screenplays; an adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Zephyr Trophy. Additionally, he produced, wrote and directed the supernatural thriller short film The Evil Ones.
He Later gained production experience through staff positions at Ridley Scott’s Scott Free and TriCoast Studios. He subsequently produced, wrote and directed Runaways an award-winning dramatic feature starring Austin O'Brien, through his own Stronghold Productions.
Brent has recently completed production of his second feature, a romantic drama entitled Exploring Love, which premiered in May of ’07 at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was shot entirely on location in Miami.
Currently Brent is in preproduction on the feature film Beelzebub.
