Brambleclaw

Brambleclaw is a ThunderClan cat character in the Warriors saga. He is first introduced in Rising Storm as Bramblekit, and becomes an apprentice known as Bramblepaw in A Dangerous Path. During the rest of the original series, he remains an apprentice and has Firestar as a mentor. He receives his warrior name in the beginning Firestar's Quest, which is a super EDition book between the Warriors and The New Prophecy series.

History

At first, not every cat trusted Brambleclaw because he is the son of Tigerstar, who did many bad things to ThunderClan. Brambleclaw's sister, Tawnypelt, left ThunderClan and joined ShadowClan because she did not want to put up With It. But Brambleclaw was willing to prove his loyalty to the end. He was chosen by StarClan to journey to sun-drown-place and receive the prophecy from Midnight the badger in Midnight-Moonrise. During that time, he fell in love with Squirrelpaw (later Squirrelflight), who went on the journey with him. When ThunderClan's deputy, Graystripe, was taken away, Brambleclaw was made deputy in his place. He did eventually mate with Squirrelflight, and they became the foster parents of Lionblaze, Hollyleaf, and Jayfeather, but he did not know he was not their real father until Hollyleaf revealed it at a Gathering in Sunrise.

Personality

Brambleclaw has always been a clever and kind cat, although he can sometimes get angry with others. He was furious with Squirrelflight when he found out she had not told him AbOUT Hollyleaf's, Lionblaze's, and Jayfeather's secret, for example. He serves as a good leader.

Family tree

Brambleclaw's parents are Goldenflower and Tigerstar, and it is revealed in Code of the Clans that Brambleclaw's grandparents are Pinestar and Leopardfoot. His sister is Tawnypelt, and since she has three children, Flamepaw, Dawnpaw, and Tigerpaw, they are Brambleclaw's nephews and niece.
