Aaron Ansarov

Aaron Ansarov (February 11, 1974 - ) is a commercial freelance photographer based in South Florida. ASMP board member for South Florida Chapter . Ansarov is also a Mentor for may young photographers. While based at Atlantic Fleet Combat Camera in Norfolk, Virginia, Ansarov created " Light Nights". An intense photography forum held once a week in the garage of his home in Suffolk, Virginia. These mentoring sessions helped to guide the careers of young up and coming Navy, Air Force, and Marine photographers.

Combat Photographer

Ansarov served in the United States Navy from 1993- 2007. He joined as a photographer's mate. During his 14 years he worked for the US Navy flagship magazine All Hands and as combat photographer . Aaron was one of many military photographers who documented operation enduring freedom, operation Iraqi freedom and other operations and exercises around the world. Ansarov's work can be found among others in GQ Magazine's book "This is Our War" , A Day in the Life of US Armed Forces by Boeing and many others publications. Awards

Ansarov has won over 35 Military Photographer of the Year Awards in every category and place except the Overall Photographer of the year.
