As an entrepreneur, George started the nationally known durable medical equipment and home health care company in 1953 helping to pioneer the home healthcare industry. The company became one of the first in the United States to provide home infusion (IV) therapy and home ventilator care. In 2007, the company had expanded to over 500 employees. . Today, its corporate headquarters is still located in Center Line, Michigan.
Binson's Home Health Care Centers are sponsors of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute (formerly the Michigan Cancer Foundation).
