Battle Cry is a 2008 action and drama film with Robert Gordon Spencer, Christopher Curtis, Kelli Haehl, Brandon Ryan, and Sierra Cook signed on.

• The writer has stated on the Battle Cry MySpace page that he plans to cast Kiefer Sutherland as the lead role. However, it is unknown if he has yet to contact him.
• Robert Gordon Spencer has signed on to the film, and quite possibly to star as the lead role.
• The writer plans to cast James Hall in the film, as stated on the MySpace page.
• On November 28, 2007, it was decided that Robert Gordon Spencer would not be the Director.
  • The creator has stated that he plans to cast Bruce Willis, or even still Kiefer Sutherland as the main role, and also wants Tom Hanks to be included in the film.
  • The creator has also stated that if he can't cast Tom Hanks, Kiefer Sutherland, or Bruce Willis, that he wants to cast William Fichtner as the lead role, and wants to cast him anyway.
• On November 29, 2007, the writer announced that he wanted to start casting as soon as possible.
• On December 1, 2007, the writer announced that Christopher Curtis, a friend of the writer's has signed on.
• On December 3, 2007, the writer announced that Kelli Haehl, another friend of the writer's has signed on. Although, he had planned on announcing this information on December 2, 2007.
• On December 6, 2007, the writer announced that Brandon Ryan, another friend of the writer's, asked to be in the film, and the writer is writing him a role.
• On December 8, 2007, the writer announced that Sierra Cook has signed on to the film.
  • The writer also announced that he plans to cast Shia LaBeouf, and is writing a role for him. Whether he will take it or not, is still unknown.

Writing Production

• There are two drafts of the script being written at the same time. The writer feels that he should write two drafts, in case one doesn't seem right to him.
• On November 29, 2007, the writer announced that the script may need to be restarted due to computer problems.
  • The writer has also announced that the sequels may also be restarted due to computer problems.
• On December 1, 2007, the writer announced that no scripts will have to be restarted.
• On December 2, 2007, the writer announced that writing has continued.
  • The writer has also announced that as soon as the script is finished being edited and re-edited, that the plot will be announced.
• On December 3, 2007, the writer announced that he will take a week off from editing, and re-editing the script.
• On December 6, 2007, the writer announced that he will resume editing, and re-editing the script as soon as possible.

• Battle Cry 2 is currently being written.
• Battle Cry 3 is also being written, so apparently the film is expected to be made into a trilogy.
• Battle Cry 4 seems likely, as there is a rumor that it's script is being written. It may also be possible that there is a second trilogy planned.

Trivia

• The writer has stated on the Battle Cry MySpace page, that they are writing three sequels, Battle Cry 2, Battle Cry 3, and Battle Cry 4 in case Battle Cry is highly successful.
