Barts and The London Men's Hockey Club
The Barts and the London Men's Hockey Club (BLMHC) is composed of medical and dental students studying at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. In 1996, the club was formed from the merger of two London medical schools: the London Hospital Medical College and the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital. The club competes in the southeastern division of the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and the London Universities Sports Leagues (LUSL) and competes annually against the four other London medical schools in the United Hospitals Cup.
Merger Cup
Since the merging of the medical school with Queen Mary and Westfield College, their respective first 11 teams have competed against one another annually in the Merger Cup.

Doorn Tour 1985-2010
BLMHC participated in the Doorn Tour from its inception in 1985 until its final year in 2010. BLMHC has made the journey across to central Holland annually to compete with the Dutch. In its final year, the touring BL team won the Hans Schott Trofie (Dutch sp.) for best team off the pitch.
BUCS
British Universities and Colleges Sport is the organization responsible for governing all higher education sport in the UK. Currently BLMHC competes in the South Eastern division. As of the 2013/14 season, within the BUCS league, all Barts and The London SMD Teams compete under the title "Queen Mary (Barts and The London SMD)"

LUSL
London Universities Sports League, a local league structure for university and college students in London, with the club competing successfully in The Two leagues it performs in. Promotion is a real goal for the 2nd XI in the 2013/2014 season.
