Audio Network PLC

Audio Network PLC is a STOCK music music library founded in 2001. It was the first company in the UK to launch a large scale, rights cleared production music catalogue. The music collection was designed to be used on television and feature films.

History

Business Model

Started by Andrew Sunnucks and Robert Hurst, the company was awarded The Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation (Technology) (2008). The company built its catalogue organically by recruiting leading composers in the UK such as Dame Evelyn Glennie, Sir Johnny Dankworth, Tim Garland, Chris Blackwell and Terry Devine King by inviting them to participate as shareholders. It now has some 300 composers writing for it including Nik Kershaw, John Etheridge, Gareth Johnson, Debbie Wiseman & Julian Lloyd Webber.

To Date

The company now produces around 8000 tracks a year, and works regularly with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London.
