AsuxTeK Electronics Incorporated (Asux), established in 1999, is a China manufacturer and exporter of consumer electronics products headquartered in Shenzhen, China, which produces Portable DVD Player, Car DVD Player, Portable TFT-LCD Television, Digital Photo Frame, MP4&MP5 Player, Car GPS Navigator and Car MP3 Player and so on. Commonly called by its brand name Asux (Simplified Chinese: 中芯电子), the company is listed on the “Shenzhen High-Tech Enterprises”.
With the joint efforts, its products have reached consumers in Asia, North America, Australia and Europe; however the company mostly sells in the United States, Europe, and Australia. Since the establishment of a new factory and new manufacturing processes in early 2007, the company has very publicly sought to re-brand itself as a professional manufacturer of high-quality consumer electronics; they are, however, in the more low-priced budget. Its main factory is on 15,000 square meters in Shenzhen, China. It was designed to accommodate up to 1,000 employees.
Asuxtek also serves as an OEM manufacturer for other brands.
