Astrotalk Platform is an Indian online astrology platform that connects users with astrologers through chat and voice consultations. The company was founded in 2017 by Puneet Gupta and operates as a digital marketplace for astrology-related services.

History

Astrotalk Platform was founded in 2017 by Puneet Gupta following a pivot from his previous IT services company, CodeYeti. The concept for the platform emerged after Gupta's personal experience consulting an astrologer, which led to the idea of building a digital marketplace connecting users with astrologers. Anmol Jain joined Astrotalk in 2021 as chief business officer, where he was involved in scaling the company's operations. In 2023, he was elevated to the position of co-founder.

In FY24 (year ended 31 March 2024), the company's operating revenue roughly doubled to and net profit rose to AbOUT .

In October 2024, the company launched Astrotalk Store, an online platform offering a range of astrology-related products and spiritual items.

Services

Astrotalk provides a range of astrology-related services and products, including horoscope readings, Kundli generation, numerology consultations, tarot readings, and palmistry.

Funding

In August 2021, the company raised approximately $811,000 in seed funding through QED Innovation Labs. In February 2024, Astrotalk raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Left Lane Capital at a pre-money valuation of around $200 million. In April 2024, the company raised an additional $9.5 million led by Elev8 Venture Partners, increasing its post-money valuation to approximately $300 million.
