The Associació Centre Cultural Islàmic d'Andorra (English: Islamic Cultural Center Association of Andorra) is the primary Muslim non-governmental organization and religious facility located in the principality of Andorra.

Headquartered in the capital parish of Andorra la Vella, the center operates as the main focal point for the country's minority Muslim diaspora — predominantly composed of Moroccan immigrants—providing an integrated prayer hall (mosque), Arabic language educational suites, and a structured platform for inter-faith diplomacy.

History

The modern presence of Islam in Andorra grew steadily during the late 20th century due to an influx of North African migrant laborers, particularly from Morocco. According to international religious freedom trackers, Muslims constitute the largest non-Christian religious group in the country, numbering approximately 2,000 residents.

To structure community resources, local residents established the association under the statutory framework of the Andorran Registre Comunal d'Associacions. According to its official bylaws, the organization aims to promote friendship among different nationalities, guide the Muslim population, and maintain solid social, cultural, and welfare links with Islamic nations.

Educational and religious functions

Because the Government of Andorra does not recognize Islam under a formal bilateral concordat and has historically declined to allocate public land for a purpose-built mosque, the center serves as a vital makeshift house of prayer for the community.
