== Arturo Basilio == Arturo Basilio De la Paz (born January 4, 2011) is an American actor from San Diego, California. He is known for his interest in the horror and drama genres and continues to train and work in performance with a focus on those areas.
Outside of acting, Basilio is the founder and CEO of EYAAC, a California unincorporated, K–12 student-run nonprofit organization that supports children experiencing cancer. He is also involved with PILT. another California unincorporated nonprofit organization that assists individuals experiencing homelessness, where he serves as Director of Fundraising and Social Media Manager.
Early life
Basilio, was born on January 4, 2011, in San Diego, California. He was raised in Grant Hill, San Diego. He attended school in Grant Hill, San Diego and Mission Bay, San Diego.
Career
Basilio has trained with several acting instructors, including Lilla Crawford, John D’Aquino, Shewan Edward, among others. His interest in acting began at a young age, particularly in the horror genre, after watching the film Us (2019). Following this, he developed a strong interest in film and storytelling, frequently collecting DVDs and watching movies daily.
As a child, Basilio became especially interested in the filmmaking process and performance, often practicing emotionally driven scenes and focusing on character development. His work and training have centered largely on dramatic and horror material, reflecting his long-standing interest in those genres.
In addition to his acting career, Basilio is involved in nonprofit and community work. At the age of 13, he joined PILT, an organization that supports individuals experiencing homelessness, where he serves as Director of Fundraising and Social Media Manager. In November of the same year, he went on to found his own nonprofit organization, EYAAC, which supports children experiencing cancer.
