Artists space

Artists Space is a not-for-profit art gallery situated in the SoHo district of New York City. It was founded in 1972 by Trudy Grace (an officer at The New York State Council for the Arts) and Irving Sandler (art historian and critic) in response to the difficulty artists faced at the time receiving direct support from any government funding agencies.
