Archi & Meidy

Archi & Meidy is an Indonesian Science comic book and also Indonesia Best Seller Comic, published by Megindo. Written by one of Indonesia's most famous scientist, Yohanes Surya and Wendy Vega. So far, there are 4 volumes. This story is AbOUT the life of two twin siblings, Archi and Meidy who were still ten years old. They deal their life with science at home, even at school. There was another story at the end of this comic book, titled "World Mission" which was about the twins life after fourteen years later where they joined a secret agent that tried to save the world.

Characters

The Susilo Family

• Archi Susilo

The male protagonist character of the story. He's a ten years old boy, described as an ACTIVE, smart, and full of curiosity. At school, he's a really intelligent and responsible student, in fact he was the vice-president of the class. He used to have a fight with his twin sister, Meidy, even so they really care for each other. Archi seemed to have a crush toward his fellow classmate, Connie.

In World Vision, Archi came back from studying overseas and had got his master degree in nuclear major. Once worked at NASA.

Archi and Meidy's name was from Archimedes, since Professor Yosu used this theory to guess the gender of the twins when they were just born.

• Meidy Susilo

The female protagonist character of the story and also the twin sister of Archie. She's an aggressive, smart, and brave ten years old girl. She had bigger ego than her twin brother and got mad easily. She used to yell to their friends when they pick on Archi.

After 14 years later, Archi and Meidy joined the World Mission, and organization which mission was to save the world from extinction. Meidy had a doctor degree in medical field and a head doctor of a hospital. She had a relationship with her partner, Maximillian Vargas.

Archi and Meidy's name was from Archimedes, since Professor Yosu used this theory to guess the gender of the twins when they were just born.

• Anthony "Anim" Susilo

The big brother of the twins. An 18 years old teenager who loved to pick on Archi. He loves Archi and Meidy so much. He has a girlfriend named Mona Higarashi, his childhood friend and they had their own comic strips in KIDDO Magazine about themselves when they were 10.

He finally joined the World Mission and a head of an anti-biologic guns laboratory.

• Handi Susilo

The father of Anim and the twins. An architect and a good friend of Professor Yosu since elementary school

• Tamara Susilo

The mother of Anim and the twins. Used to be a model, after married she became a designer.

Archi and Meidy's Friends

• Dennis

Dennis is a really naughty and like to harass his friends, especially Archi. He and his 'subordinates' used to challenge Archi with questions, which finally he could answer it well. Meidy used to yell and slapped him for being so annoying. He would always blamed his 'subordinates' if he had done something embarrassing or wrong. Dennis used to pick on Jelita, a girl from his class as well, but he might just showed an affection to her.

• Jelita

In Indonesia, her name means 'beautiful'. Like her name meaning, Jelita is a beautiful and girly girl. She's the daughter of a rich man, and because of that she sometimes show off to her friends, although she didn't mean to. She hated Dennis so much, because of his annoying attitude towards her. Jelita used to get jealous when Archi got to close to Connie, this was a hint that she might have a crush on Archi.
