ar·che·type - original model: something that serves as the model or pattern for other things of the same type
This definition stands true to where they came from.
Archetype was around to witness the birth of eSports, compete in some of the first tournaments, and see the growth of "shoutcasting" that eventually turned into live streaming.
Extra-Life
For the past few years Archetype has dedicated a large portion of their time into the Extra-Life program. Extra-Life is a national program that gives gamers a medium to raise money through tax-deductible donations to the Children's Miracle Network. Archetype hosts a 24 hour LAN event and tournaments in Kansas City, Missouri. In 3 years, they have been able to raise over $25,000 for children in need.
Business model
What underpins Archetype Gaming's success and makes them different than other organizations? Archetype Gaming has a dedicated community that is directed by great management.
