The company offers international recruitment services including retained executive search and selection, contingent recruitment in permanent, interim and contract / temporary staffing. History

Antal International was founded in 1993 by an entrepreneur Tony Goodwin with following office openings in UK, Poland, Hungary and Russia during the first few years.By 1997 there were Antal offices in Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland. At this time Antal International started the international operating in Russia and the CIS. The Moscow representation was one of Antal’s first international offices. After Russian Default in 1998 the size of the team was decreased more than half but the company survived. At the same time Antal joined the China market by opening the mainland office in Beijing where has built a team of consultants working across multiple regions including the associates in Singapore, Japan and Taiwan.

From 1998 Antal International Has been listed in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 for four consecutive years. Then Antal International moved into the franchising arena. The methodology was matched with varying cultures and economic environments worldwide. Antal team was in a position to take talented business professionals and to train those in the recruitment processes. In 2000 Tony Goodwin was shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year and Antal International won Growing Business Award. And 2 years later Antal was commended in Recruiter Awards for Excellence. 2003-2006 Antal International opens offices in Croatia, France, Romania and Bulgaria. In January 2007 Antal International established the first office in India, which leaded to opening of 20 more offices there. In March 2008 Antal International Russia was acquired by the FiveTen Group and since that time Tony Goodwin has been investing in different businesses diversified into Property, Retail, Luxury Goods. Nowadays Antal International network comprises over 107 physical business units in 33 countries and have sourced and placed professionals in 75 countries worldwide across a broad range of functions and industry sectors and offer clients a choice of recruitment & staffing solutions from Retained Executive Search, Search & Selection to Contingent Recruitment in Permanent, Interim & Contract / Temporary staffing. Over the coming year Antal board is looking at new offices in the Nordic countries, Japan Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam and Mongolia, as well as expanding their Chinese operations into other major cities to complement the existing teams in Beijing and Shanghai. .

Antal Global Snapshot

Antal Global Snapshot is a regular survey of hiring and firing trends in key employment markets around the world. 'Antal Global Snapshot' is based upon survey forms and telephone interviews completed by line and HR Managers in 15000 companies, professional partnerships and financial institutions across 50 countries. Each respondent is asked whether they were currently hiring or letting go professional / managerial staff and whether they intended to do so over the coming quarter.

Philanthropy

Antal Charitable Foundation, created in July 2008, is mostly concerned with helping children’s charities and those efforts and events that revolve around the support of kids in difficult situations. This means it is extends to all areas of the globe and all kinds of situations be it physical disadvantage; parenting issues; natural disasters; political mismanagement. Basically, anything where the kids are victims of circumstance or nature. Antal Charity Foundation works on the rehabilitation of children who might otherwise be describe as problem kids or old fashioned terms as delinquent.
