American Risk Insurance Company, Inc.

American Risk Insurance Company, Inc., better known as ARI, is a subsidiary of American Risk Holdings, Inc. and is a property and casualty insurance carrier based out of Houston, Texas. The company was formed in May 2006 and was issued a Certificate of Authority to transact business by the Texas Department Of Insurance on February 22, 2007.

ARI's present focus is Homeowners and Dwelling Fire insurance products and Commercial Property insurance research and development is underway, set to launch sometime in 2008. Business is written through appointed and qualified independent agents and managing general agents who demonstrate a passion and respect for the industry. ARI writes business in all counties within Texas but excludes wind and hail coverage in Tier 1 (coastal) counties where coverage is available from the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (T.W.I.A.).

The management team is comprised of over 100 years of experience in the insurance, risk management, construction and real estate arenas. Although the company writes products only in Texas, it will venture into other states in the U.S. by 2010.

The company is very strong financially and its reinsurance is placed with such carriers as Lloyds of London and Amlin.
