American Ceramics is an art magazine dedicated to ceramic art.
Publication
The editorial lineup of each issue of American Ceramics is built on a specific theme. Each issue of the magazine includes exclusive InterViews with notable figures in the art world such as Milton Glaser, Frank Gehry, Beatrice Wood, Santiago Calatrava, Garth Clark, Agnes Gund, Francois Gilat, Paul Greenhalgh, Jack Lenor Larsen and Santiago Calatrava. A staple of American Ceramics has always been the review section, where the work of artists from throughout the United States and around the world are critiqued. Past issues of the magazine have included the works of Betty Woodman, Charles Simonds, Richard DeVore, Viola Frey, John Mason, Jun Kaneko, Michael Lucero, Kathy Butterly, Ken Price, Toshiko Takaezu, Ron Nagle and Anthony Caro.
Design
The magazine was designed by Massimo Vignelli and received gold medal from the Society of Publication Designers.
