TheScreamOnline
TheScreamOnline is a free Internet magazine featuring Art, Photography, Literature, Music, and Film.
History
The name was inspired by Edvard Munch’s painting “The Scream,” which, according to editor Stuart Vail, "sums-up the horrors of seeking legitimate representation — not to mention getting published — as an artist or writer."
The premier issue appeared in June 2001, with issues following two months apart in August and October. Starting in January 2002 the magazine became quarterly until April 2004. A death in the family delayed the next issue until December 2004, with subsequent issues in June 2005 and April 2007.
