Alvito Hodge
Alvito La Ray Hodge, Jr. is the founder and CEO of independent record label, Music Unlimited Records. Alvito, also known as AV in the music industry, has been a motivating force behind underground Hip Hop music over the last few years through such artists as 7th Letter and his new protégé Young Blue.
Alvito was raised by his grandparents William and Mary Hodge in the small upscale town of Norwalk, CT. As far back as elementary school he showed his mind for business. "I would purchase a pack of candy from the store, open it and then sell the individual pieces to double or triple my money."
Alvito was a top honor student attending J. M. Wright Technical High School, University of Texas and Wright State University. He was also a top professional baseball prospect until injuries ended his athletic career.
In addition to being nominated for the annual business guide "Who's Who" for 2006 and 2007 several record labels have shown interest in partnering with Alvito's Music Unlimited Records. Currently Alvito is working with his artist Young Blue and will release Young Blue's debut album summer 2007.
