Alex Poirier (born August 24th 1988) is a amateur Canadian BMX flatland rider. His popularity has grown over the past years as he is regarded as the most up and coming rider in the expert bracket.

Personal Life

Alex was born August 24th 1988 in Petrolia Ontario. He lived with his family here till he graduated high school in 2006, he then moved to Ottawa Canada to study computer science at Carleton University.

Biking Career

Alex began to learn flatland techniques when he was enrolled in the eighth grade and started to take it as a serious hobby during the early years of high school. Over the past few years Alex has participated and placed highly in flatland competitions all across North America.
