Alan Taylor (racing driver)
Alan Taylor is a British Racing Driver who drives in the British Touring Car Championship. Alan is the managing director of a wholesale seafood company and is the owner of his Big Mussell seafood restaurants in Yorkshire. He was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on the 4th of December 1969, making him the oldest driver to compete in the BTCC in 2007.
It has been confirmed he will drive the Honda Integra again for the 2008 BTCC season as part of a 3 car team for Robertshaw Racing.
Racing History
The car which Alan drives for the last two meetings at Knockhill and Thruxton was bought from Simon Blanckley and is a BTC spec Honda Integra. Alan has switched championships from the Renault Clio cup, which is a support race to the BTCC. He also drove in the mini challenge and in the historic touring car races.
