Akshay Agrawal

Akshay Agrawal is an Indian first-generation entrepreneur. Born in 1998 in India, he founded two companies – Ukhadlo and ClassFever. He started his first company when he was 16. He is also a two-time TEDx speaker.

Education

Akshay studied at Avalon Heights International School and St. Gregorios High School and is currently a student at ArtCenter College of Design in California.

Ukhadlo

Agrawal founded Ukhadlo when he was 16 years old. Ukhadlo is an online social Networking platform for entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators and incubators. Ukhadlo allows potential co-founders to connect and ideate collaboratively. Ukhadlo was featured in the Hindustan Times and The Economic Times among others. Agrawal spoke about his journey with Ukhadlo at a TEDx event in Mumbai and Pune and at Brainstorm.

TEDx speaker

Agrawal spoke at two TEDx events in India – TEDxUWCMC at UWC Mahindra United World College, Pune and TEDxYouth at Oberoi International School, Mumbai. Agrawal's talk at TEDxYouth@OIS has over 22,000 views. Agrawal also spoke at an event ("Brainstorm") at Bombay Scottish School.

ClassFever

Agrawal founded ClassFever when he was 17 and faced trouble switching schools after 10th grade. ClassFever was originally a school review aggregation platform but soon pivoted to an open source crowdsourced big data school ranking platform. ClassFever computes 200 million data sets to rank schools and open sources the data it used as a basis to rank all schools. Agrawal collected his friends over the school break to help grow the company faster and organised them into the "Alpha Team". ClassFever rankings are live and are refreshed at an undisclosed interval. ClassFever generates revenue by offering consultancy services to schools apart from Ranking Certifications. Agrawal spoke about ClassFever at both the TEDx talks and at Brainstorm. ClassFever has been well received by the media including Yahoo and Mid Day, and it is ranked well.
