A.K. DuBoff
A.K. DuBoff (born Amy Kay DuBoff) is an American science fiction author specializing in space opera. She is a USA Today bestselling author, a 2018 Nebula Award finalist, and has been dubbed the modern "Queen of Space Opera" by her readers.
She is best known for creating the expansive Cadicle Universe and the internationally bestselling Starship of the Ancients series (beginning with Stranded). Her works have been adapted into audiobooks by Podium Entertainment, and several projects are in development for television, including adaptations of the Cadicle series and a Stranded pilot script.
Early life
DuBoff was born in San Diego, California and raised in the Pacific Northwest.
Career
DuBoff began self-publishing in 2015 with Architects of Destiny, the first book in the Cadicle space opera saga. She became a full-time writer in 2017. Her fiction features epic interstellar stories, advanced technology, and intricate world-building.
