]] Aadithyaa Vinod (born 28 August 1980) is an Indian actor, musician, composer, story writer, and engineer, primarily associated with the Kannada film industry and literature. He is known for his multi-disciplinary career encompassing the arts and civil engineering, and for his debut film project, Kendavarre, which is based on his novel focusing on the issue of child trafficking.

Early life and education

Aadithyaa Vinod was born on 28 August 1980 in Kasaragod. He spent his childhood in Bhadravathi. He pursued his engineering education in Shimoga, obtaining a B.E. in Civil Engineering. His father, M. Padmaraja Kumar, was a manager at VISL, SAIL Bhadravathi.

In addition to his professional engineering background, Aadithyaa is also ACTIVE as a painter and a voice-over artist. He runs a construction and interiors firm in Bangalore.

Career in arts and social work

Aadithyaa Vinod's creative work, including his art, music, and stories, is described as an expression of "the truths he has seen and felt." He has a stated strong sense of social responsibility, which is the driving force behind his major artistic project, Kendavarre.

Kendavarre Project

Kendavarre is a project initiated by Aadithyaa Vinod, first as a novel and subsequently adapted into a feature film.The novel, inspired by real events and personal encounters, focuses on the harsh realities of child trafficking and forced prostitution in India. Its stated purpose is to create awareness and inspire hope. Aadithyaa Vinod holds multiple key roles in the film adaptation, serving as the story writer, music director, and lead actor (Hero). The film is directed by Pannaga and also features actor Prakash Thuminad. the beautiful coast and landscape scenes are captured by cinematographer Arun Kumar.

The story centers on Renu, a young girl who is trafficked at the age of twelve. After years of captivity and abuse, she escapes the brothel at 18 with her lover, Nandu. They encounter Aadithyaa, a reputed rubber estate owner who is dealing with the emotional aftermath of his wife's death.

It explores themes of loss, redemption, and profound social commitment, where a chance encounter sparks a life-changing mission to establish the KENDAVARRE foundation.
