Early life
Bhuvan Chandra was born to Ramachandra and Saroja in Bangalore, Karnataka. He obtained a Diploma in Aviation & Travel Management & PG in Garment Manufacturing & Merchandise, Bangalore. He represented in many Dance Competitions and Cricket Tournaments.

R Bhuvan Chandra began his film career in Sirivantha (2007), He played role of Dr.Vishnuvardhan's Elder son(Gopinath), directed by Kala Samrat S. Narayan and Produced by Dheera Rockline Venkatesh, and a Second lead role in the Shravana (2010), directed by B.S.Rajashekhar. In 2015, he played a lead role in Sambhava directed by TN NAGESH is still not released and infintely postponed. In 2017 he played a lead role in Kidi (film), directed by Raghu S which is the remake of the Malayalam Block Buster Hit movie Kali (2016 film).
Television
Bhuvan Chandra made his TV debut as a participant in the Reality Dance Show Haaku Hejje Haaku on ETV Kannada and also been a Guest and Judge in many reality shows in various TV channels.
Private life
Bhuvan Chandra was the player of Karnataka Bulldozers cricket team that competes in the Celebrity Cricket League.
