Adhirchi Arun is an Indian actor and comedian who predominantly works in the Tamil film and television industry. He rose to prominence through his digital content on the YouTube channel Black Sheep and later gained mainstream recognition for his appearances in reality shows like Cooku with Comali and Top Cooku Dupe Cooku. He made his feature film debut in the 2023 film Baba Black Sheep.
Career
Arun began his career in 2018 as a digital creator with the Tamil YouTube collective Black Sheep. His comedic timing and sketches made him a popular figure among the youth in Tamil Nadu.
In 2022, he participated in the third season of the popular reality show Cooku with Comali as a "Comali" (jester), which significantly expanded his fan base. In 2024, he joined the cast of Top Cooku Dupe Cooku on Sun TV as a "Dupe Cook," where he frequently performed parodies of famous film characters, such as "Ranga" from the film Aavesham.
He transitioned to the big screen in 2023 with a supporting role in the school-drama film Baba Black Sheep, directed by Rajmohan Arumugam.
