Adam Davy

Adam Davy (born 30.08.1977) is an actor and an accomplished multi-instrumentalist.

Biography

Adam Luke Davy grew up in London, England. At the age of 8 he moved with his family to Oxford, where he was educated at 'The Cherwell School', then later at 'Henley College'.

Career

At the age of 8 Adam joined Humphrey Carpenters, 'Mushey Pea Theatre Company', in which, at the age of 15, Adam played The Title role in 'MR Majeika' and Charlie Chaplin in 'Babes' at the Shaw Theatre, London (1995).

In 1997 Adam Davy won a place at the world famous Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he was part of the last group to receive tuition from guru acting teacher, Rudi Shelley. Shortly before graduating in 2000, Adam Davy, was asked to take part in, 'The story of Christmas', he was awarded £1000, to contribute to course funding, by the patron of the Charitable oragnisation: Dame Judi Dench. In 2003 he played Joseph in the stage play 'We Happy Few', written by Imogen Stubbs and Directed by Trevor Nunn. The Play transferred from, 'Malvern theatre', to the westend at the Gielgud. He then went on to play the young C S Lewis in, 'C S lewis: Beyond Narnia', filmed by BAFTA winning director Norman Stone for BBC television and Hallmark channel.

On the music front: Adam Davy has toured with many bands and worked with many musicians including, Andy Leek, of the 'Dexys Midnight Runners' and legendary poet/musician Pete Brown and put his saxophone playing to Jazz poetry with John Hegley. Tour work has taken Adam to the Pink Elephant Jazz, the Cork Jazz festival, to name a couple. Currentlty Adam is working with, 'Us Not Them', a top Pink Floyd tribute act. Also he headlines in the opening and closing band at ''Ain't Nothing But' Londons' finest Blues venue.

Adam has also played and such venues as Cartier Royal polo event: and the ,'Kay Club', Ireland, home to the world famous, Ryders cup tournament .

Private Life

Adam Davy currently lives in the Angel, London.
