ACTIVIT

ACTIVIT is a Pakistani nutritional supplement company which produces multivitamin and multimineral supplements.

Background

ACTIVIT was established in 2023 by Rizwan Aftab Ahmed, a registered dietitian and director of the National Hospital in Lahore.

In August 2025, ACTIVIT provided medical and athlete-support services for Pakistan Combat Night 2025, a three-day mixed martial arts tournament held in Lahore. By August 2025, ACTIVIT had established ACTIVERSE, an athlete-support initiative involving athletes from multiple sports.

In May 2026, ACTIVIT jointly organised the inaugural ACTIVIT Margalla Triathlon with Margalla Trail Runners in Islamabad, featuring Olympic and sprint-distance competitions in swimming, cycling and running.

In July 2026, ACTIVIT partnered with the Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation (PAKMMAF) for the inaugural PAKMMAF ACTIVIT Contender Series, held at Fight HQ in Lahore.

In August 2026, the ACTIVIT Jashan-e-Azadi Cycling Race was held in Lahore in connection with Pakistan's Independence Day celebrations. The race followed a route from Punjab Stadium to Wahdat Road. In the same month, ACTIVIT signed an agreement with the Pakistan Sports Board Coaching Centre Lahore to support sports activities and athlete development. Under the agreement, ACTIVIT would sponsor annual sporting events organised by the centre, including activities held as part of Pakistan's Independence Day celebrations.

ACTIVIT Welfare Foundation

The ACTIVIT Welfare Foundation was established as a welfare arm associated with ACTIVIT. It has been involved in welfare and humanitarian activities, including assistance related to nutrition, medical care, sports, and youth programmes.

In April 2026, the foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with the Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) concerning youth programmes involving sports, physical activity, wellness, nutrition, arts, and culture.

Research

In January 2026, a study published in History of Medicine examined ACTIVIT D together with ACTIVIT Multivitamin–Multimineral using in vitro, ex vivo, and in silico models. The research used skeletal, pancreatic, endothelial, neuroimmune, reproductive, and computational systems to assess markers associated with calcium metabolism, insulin secretion, endothelial activity, inflammatory signalling, neurotrophic factors, reproductive hormones, and metabolic modelling. No human participants or live animals were involved. The authors cited the simulated nature of some outputs and the absence of direct human clinical data among the study's limitations.

In February 2026, a paper published in the Journal of Population Therapeutics & Clinical Pharmacology described a 12-week randomized, double-blind comparison involving 120 adults assigned either an ACTIVIT multivitamin formulation or a conventional multivitamin. Researchers assessed serum vitamin B12, red blood cell folate, plasma homocysteine, magnesium, zinc, and fatigue severity. The publication reported differences between the groups in several measured outcomes following the intervention.

In July 2026, a paper published in the European Journal of Clinical Pharmacy examined ACTIVIT in the context of micronutrient insufficiency, nutrient bioavailability, and medication-associated nutrient depletion. The publication outlined a prospective 12-week intervention framework for adults considered at risk of micronutrient insufficiency, with proposed measures including vitamin B12, vitamin D, ferritin, zinc, magnesium, fatigue severity, quality of life, and metabolic parameters. The paper presented anticipated outcomes rather than results from a completed human intervention and stated that controlled clinical studies would be required to establish measurable health outcomes.
