73rd Infantry Battalion (Cadre)

The 73rd Infantry Battalion (Cadre), known officially as 73rd Cadre Battalion, is one of the battalions of the Philippine Army, which is organic to the 1002nd Infantry Brigade and previously the 1001st Infantry Brigade of the 10th Infantry "Agila" Division. It is an infantry unit, and is one of the CAFGU units of the Philippine Army.

The 73IB(C) specializes in Counter-insurgency Operations as well as Jungle warfare.

The unit is primarily composed of CAFGU militiamen, supervised by Philippine Army Regular Commissioned Officers and Non-commissioned officers.
