52nd Infantry Battalion (Cadre)
The 52nd Infantry Battalion (Cadre), known officially as 52nd Cadre Battalion, is one of the battalions of the Philippine Army, which is organic to the 803rd Infantry Brigade of the 8th Infantry "Storm Trooper" Division. It is an infantry unit, and is one of the CAFGU units of the Philippine Army.
The 52IB(C) specializes in Counter-insurgency Operations as well as Jungle warfare.
The unit is primarily composed of CAFGU militiamen, supervised by Philippine Army Regular Commissioned Officers and Non-commissioned officers.
