The 2015–16 Sporting Clube da Praia season were in the island division of football (soccer). The club finished 3rd after Boavista FC.

The club scored 49 goals and had 13 wins, 7 ties, 2 losses and 46 points. More than a quarter of the goals scored were two matches with Vitória and Eugênio Lima, 18 or 36.7% with the match with Varanda.

Santiago Island League (South)

The 2015-16 season would have a good start, the club was unranked for the first two weeks as he second week match was rescheduled to November 25 from the 14. The club lost to Celtic for the second week match, it was the only one lost away and was eleventh, the first week match rescheduled and defeated Os Garridos club 2-1. Another victory occurred after winning over Travadores, Sporting had its formal position of being fourth, week 4's match was a draw with ADESBA. Two victories followed over Varanda and Desportivo, in between the clubs took the holiday break, followed by two draws to Académica and Delta, then Sporting was fourth. The final loss was to Boavista at home on January 31 as the club scored nothing and the club was fifth. The club went for a three-game winning streak, first over Vitória 6-1 where they regained the fourth-place position, then Eugênio Lima, a club once known as Lapaloma and Os Garridos where they picked up to third on February 20. The match with Vitória was the club's second biggest win A goal draw was followed by Celtic at home, Sporting defeated Travadores on March 5 and a scoreless draw with ADESBA followed. A two match winning streak was next over Varanda 0-4 which was the club's fourth biggest and Desportivo Praia and Sporting reached the first position, a two-goal draw with Académica dropped the club's position to third again. Sporting defeated last placed Delta on April 17 and regained the number one spot for the last time, it made Delta, the match was the first week 19 match and of the additional four matches, it was also the club's third biggest win. Sporting went to a two-goal draw with Boavista Praia and was dropped to third, Sporting's last goals conceded for the season. The week 21 match was saw Sporting defeating Vitória at home 1-0, the final match had a huge win over Eugênio Lima 0-7 on May 8, it shared with Desportivo with the highest scoring match in the region but it had the region's biggest win of any club of the season.

Sporting Praia scored a total number of 49 goals nearly double than last season and had the region's highest goal total ahead of Boavista's and Desportivo's. Sporting again started having most of the goals away numbering 30 or 61.2%, nearly half were two matches, VItória and Eugênio Lima, and 60% with a match with Varanda added, 19 or less than 40% were scored at home, a quarter was scored during a match with Delta. The win ratio was a match more at home, in draws, a match more away. 70% of the goals conceded were away and numbered 12.

António Correia was second in individual goal scoring for the Santiago South Zone number 14 and the most in the club, second was Euclides Ramos Mendonça who scored nine which was fifth in the region.
