2011–12 AIHL Elite season
The 2011–12 AIHL Elite season was the 4th season of operation for the Elite Division of the American Inline Hockey League (AIHL). The Oakland Goodlife defeated the Scottdale Inferno in the Elite Championship 2–1 to win the team's second Champions Cup, becoming the first team to win back-to-back championships.
Regular season
Standings
Each of the 33 teams played a 24-game season of an unbalanced schedule. Each division was responsible for their individual schedule formats. The first-place teams in each division place first. The top two (for divisions with four teams), or three (for divisions with five or more teams), from the rest of the teams in each division will also qualify for the playoffs, making a total of three or four playoff teams in each division. Because the Western Conference only has three divisions, the team finishing with the top regular season record in the conference will receive a double-bye to the conference semifinals as the top seed.
