The 2011 Gippsland Football League season commences on 9 April and concludes on 17 September 2011.
It is the 12th season of the Gippsland Football League (GFL) competition, and the first with ten teams following the inclusion of the Bairnsdale Football Club.
The competition now ranges from Drouin in West Gippsland, to Wonthaggi in South Gippsland and Bairnsdale in East Gippsland making it the largest country league in Victoria in terms of distance (224kms).
