The Meadow Glen Mall is a small enclosed shopping mall situated at the junction of the Mystic Valley Parkway (Route 16) and Locust Street in Medford, Massachusetts. Constructed in 1979, the Meadow Glen Mall is a neighborhood mall catering mainly to residents in the inner northern suburbs of Boston, including the communities of Medford, Malden, Everett, Somerville, and Stoneham.
History
Because the mall was built on the site of an old drive-in theatre, the Meadow Glen Mall's original interior consisted of pictures of movie stars and other movie-related decor. Signs posted throughout the mall's parking lot still reflect this theme, naming sections of the parking lot after cinema stars such as Clark Gable and Judy Garland. The mall has since gone through several renovations over the years.
Until 2001, the mall's main anchor tenant was a Bradlees department store that closed when the chain went into bankruptcy. Kohl's opened in its place in 2002. Other past tenants include York Steak House (which was located where iParty is now), Kay-Bee Toys and Waldenbooks.
Toward the end of the 1990's, the Meadow Glen Mall ran the risk of being considered a dead mall, as many of the stores either moved elsewhere or went out of business. The mall has since bounced back, as other stores occupied vacated spaces around the mall.
Around the mid 1990's, ex-drummer of Extreme and manager of Salem band Godsmack, Paul Geary, operated a music lesson shop in the mall, which is in his hometown.
On August 14, 2004 Meadow Glen Mall had celabrated it's 25th Birthday with a giant bash inside and outside of the mall, inclding a cookout, moon bounce, radio disneyand plenty of giveaways.

Meadow Glen is home to two anchor stores, Kohl's and Marshall's, along with approximately 40 in-line tenants. Other current tenants include Bath and Body Works, Spencer Gifts, Claires, Olympia Sports and Radio Shack. Meadow Glen has a fairly small food court which includes McDonalds, Panda Express, Friendly's and Dunkin' Donuts. The mall also has a Customer Service desk (located at the mall's center) which is also were you can find security. Midtowne Little Rock, is a small, upscale lifestyle center located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Many of the city's exclusive stores are located here, including the first Arkansas locations for Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, J. Jill, and Ann Taylor Loft. The center is also home to key secondary properties for companies with established presence in the market. Ann Taylor, Tween Brands (Limited Too) and The Talbots, Inc. (Talbot's) — three companies with stores at nearby Park Plaza Mall — opened locations for Ann Taylor Loft, Justice Just for Girls, and J. Jill, respectively. Companies with west Little Rock locations opened here as well, with second outlets for Chico's (in addition to a White House Black Market store), P.F. Chang's China Bistro (via its concept Pei Wei Asian Diner), JoS. A. Bank Clothiers, and local contemporary apparel retailer RK Collections (via Impulse). The high-traffic location overlooking the intersection of Markham Street and University Avenue also attracted Starbucks, which was the first of the center's tenants to open on September 1, 2006, as construction continued on additional buildings. The center is owned and developed by Strode Property Company, which announced plans in fall 2007 for a companion shopping center to be built during 2008 and 2009 down University Avenue at the former University Mall site.
