Akiba McKinney (born March 9, 1979) is an American former track and field athlete who specialized in the long jump. She finished in third place at the U.S. Olympic trials in 2004, falling just short of qualifying for the Athens Olympic Games. She is most remembered as the United States Indoor Champion for the long jump in both 2006 and 2007.
Finn McGill (born April 12, 2000) is a junior professional surfer from the Hawaiian island of Oahu. He was ranked the #115 junior surfer in the world by the Association of Surfing Professionals in 2014. His sister, Dax McGill, is also a professional surfer. In 2011, Finn won the National Scholastic Surfing Association’s competition for his age group.
On Dec 12th, Finn McGill became the youngest competitor to win the Pipeline Invitational at the age of 16 and earned a spot in the Pipeline Masters.
Dax McGill is a current female professional surfer from the Hawaiian island of Oahu. She has a QS ranking of 74th in the world by the Association of Surfing Professionals for 2014. She has a younger brother, Finn McGill, who is currently a junior professional surfer. She has several sponsors including T&C Hawaii, Volcom, and Electric.
In November 2014, she participated, and won the WQS Pichilemu Woman Pro 2014, held at Punta de Lobos beach, Pichilemu.
