Brian Clifton (real name: Dirk Thyssens; born March 20, 1962, Wilrijk, Antwerp, Belgium) is a Flemish Belgian composer, best known for composing the scores to the movies Ellektra by Rudolf Mestdagh and the Hollywood movie Bird of Prey featuring Jennifer Tilly, Richard Chamberlain and Lesley Ann Warren. He wrote also the end titles for the 2005 Thai historical drama film The King Maker.
Biography
Clifton made his first professional moves towards London where he met the Academy Award-winning film producer David Puttnam (Midnight Express, Chariots of Fire, The Killing Fields). Puttnam gave Clifton and his then partner, Belgian composer, Steve Willaert the opportunity to write music for The Mission (1986). He was to collaborate with Beatles' producer George Martin as conductor. But an unstable financial situation over at the production company Goldcrest necessitated The Mission's scoring to be done by a much more experienced film composer. And so they went for Brian's mentor: maestro Ennio Morricone.
He moved his family and studio to Los Angeles, after he wrote music for the Belgian movie The Colleagues: A Three-Day Weekend (1988) and the tv-serie Alfa Papa Tango. In this period, Clifton composed the scores for Less Dead Than The Others (1989) by controversial filmmaker Frans Buyens and for Trouble In Paradise (1989) by Robbe De Hert.
In 1995, Brian together with his agent Linda Kordek secured the job to score his first Hollywood movie: Bird Of Prey, produced by Steven J. Wolfe.
Clifton kept composing music for film: Rudi van den Bossche's Spike and Suzy: The Dark Diamond (2004) as well as Rudolf Mestdagh's Ellektra (2004), nominated in New York for Best Film Music, in collaboration with actress/singer Axelle Red and pianiste Claire Chevallier.

In baseball, a captain is an honorary title sometimes given to a member of the team to acknowledge his leadership. In the early days of baseball, a captain was a player who was responsible for many of the functions now assumed by managers and coaches, such as preparing lineups, making decisions about strategy, and encouraging teamwork. In amateur or youth baseball, a manager or coach may appoint a team captain to assist in communicating with the players and to encourage teamwork and improvement.
Major League Baseball's official rules only briefly mention the position of team captain. Section 4.01, which discusses the submission of a team's lineup to the umpire, notes that obvious errors in the lineup should be brought to the attention of the team's manager or captain.
In Major League Baseball, many teams no longer designate a player as captain. Jerry Remy, who was named as captain of the Los Angeles Angels in 1977 at age 24, explains, "there's probably no need for a captain on a major league team. I think there are guys who lead by example. You could name the best player on your team as captain, but he may not be the guy other players will talk to or who will quietly go to other players and give them a prod."
Of the three current team captains in Major League Baseball, only Boston's Jason Varitek wears an NHL-style "C" on his jersey.
Three Major League Baseball teams currently have captains:
*Derek Jeter, New York Yankees
*Jason Varitek, Boston Red Sox
*Paul Konerko, Chicago White Sox

The Return of the Heartless Monster is the upcoming fifth studio album by American rapper 50 Cent. It is set to be released in 2010 or 2011.
Background
The album was announced as early as May 2009, when 50 Cent said in an interview with MTV that he will be releasing a follow up LP one month after the release of Eminem's Recovery. 50 Cent announced the album's title as Black Magic during a backstage interview. In an interview with MTV, 50 Cent announced that the album will be released during the summer of 2010, "I kind of planned on releasing Black Magic ... I gave myself a goal to try and put it out by the end of the summer, so I'll work that hard on the actual project."

In July 2010, 50 told Rolling Stone magazine that he considered shelving the album but it's not confirmed yet if the album will be shelved or released.
Record label
According to 50 Cent he signed a five-album deal with Interscope, the fifth one being a greatest hits compilation. Due to rumors about a possible new label switch, it's uncertain on which label the final fifth album will be released. When asked about his contract in a recent interview, he responded "I've just had several people express an interest at the same time, so to say that I would stay would be a negative read to them, and to say that I would go would be negative to the people I'm with, so I don't want to say either way." 50 Cent said a Def Jam deal is possible and has discussed it multiple times. On July 3, 2010, it was reported that he had signed with Capitol Records but the G-Unit camp has denied those claims. He also called Capitol CEO Craig Davies an idiot for releasing this false information. 50 Cent further stated that he hasn't ruled out re-signing to Interscope as he has had much success with them.
Recording
50 Cent stated in an interview that he recorded three songs for the album, while on tour in Europe. 50 Cent later stated that he had recorded a further nineteen songs for the album. Rap producer, Bangladesh revealed in August that he had recently been on the phone with 50, and that he would be sending him tracks for the album. In a interview with rapfix live Swizz Beatz stated that he was working on 50 Cent's fifth studio album and said there was a possible collaboration in the making. He said
Recently, 50 revealed via Twitter that he would not be cutting his hair until he finished the album. Also on twitter, Jackson revealed that he had did a song with currently incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie, which may be featured on the album.
50 Cent recently announced that he will temporarily quitting twitter so that he can focus on writing new, upcoming album, the follow up to his "Before I Self Destruct" project. Telling his fans he wants to focus on his new project, "Ok ladies and gentalmen I'm writing my new album. I will not be on twitter again till sept 6This album will be a classic," 50 tweeted Wednesday (August 31). On September 3rd, 50 Cent showed support to longtime mentor Eminem, and appeared on his and Jay-Z's Home & Home Tour, where he met rapper B.o.B. and discussed with him, the possibility of doing a collaboration together. 50 Cent stated that a record with Kanye West might appear on the album.

My page JOHN RAMIREZ was deleted in the past and now I am attempting to add again my information. The only 'IMPORTANCE' that I can perceive to have some 'SIGNIFICANCE' is that founding member of La_Fiebre Ricardo 'Ricky' Garza at the age of 14 did play drums n my group and remained in my group until disbanding 1979. Ricky would later play drums on my 1984 cd release titles PEOPLE Produced by John Ramirez. Solo album. In 1883, with both founding members of LA FIEBRE, Rudy Roacha and Ricky Garza I would help them on bass guitar. Their intention were to form a Rock Band once a permanent bass player could be found. At this time my work on the PEOPLE was in the making in the recording studio and I was rehearsing with Ricky and Rudy on my available time. I was confronted by Ricky and Rudy to consider playing a a member of their group and we would be a three piece. My position in the band was bass player/ lead vocalist. A Rush type format. Maybe if I had not invested so much into my current work that I was doing in the studio at thetime I would have joined as thier bass player/ lead singer-and we really all got along fine but, I decline to the disappointment of Ricky and Rudy. My agreement stood to assist them with rehearsals until a permanent bass player was place but, that would never happen. What is now LA FIEBRE in 1883 was the rock band that came to be and later decide to play instead TEX-MEX latin. Rudy Roacha and I are childhood neighbors.
Note: anyway that may help to give me some chance of getting myself on WICKEPEDIA the best source for info on the web. dont know how to upload a photos
Thank you
John Ramirez
Here is what I have at this time:
John Ramirez is born in Corpus Christi, Texas June 5, 1958 to Latin musician/ singer Juan Thomas Ramirez and Teodora Pantaleon Guerrero. The 6th youngest of three boys and nine girls. The Ramirez fanily moved to Houston Texas at age five Houston. His mother and father were Baptist Pastors and later Pentecostal Pastors. In his youth, Juan was a guitarist in Corpus Christi and singer entertainer. His marriage to Teodora would force him to take on a more stable work and leave his chances of entertaining aside and would become a Baptist minister.
John began playing the drums at the age of nine. He would use toothbrushes as he played along with songs by the Beatles and other popular groups of the late sixties. At the age of 13 his father bought John a drum kit. At the early age of 10, John father took him to Woolworth and let him pick the toy he wanted. 'I remember there was a life size soldier drum high above on the shelve and I picked it. The skins were cardboard so it lasted me only for a while' . As a experienced drummer John acclimated well to his three years in school band in the percussion section. Remaining in the 6th grade but moving to the 8th grade his 7th and 8th year. At 16 and now living in Pasadena Texas, John started playing the guitar and some musician neighborhood friends of and on would get together and play music by The Rolling Stones, Stephen Wolf, Bad Company, BTO and other popular rock groups. 'The equipment was old but we didn't know any better we just played..neighborhood friends would come over to listen'. Later in 1976, a 13 year old [ Ricardo 'Ricky' Garza Jr. who would later become the co-founder of the Tex Mex Latino group LA FIEBRE impressed John with his dedication to learn to play his new drums and with Johnny Guiterrez , a neighborhood kid bass player would form John's first official group. But it was mainly just house parties where they would play. John began getting more involved in his fathers ministry and would cause the group to be short lived when John would convert to Christianity. It was a disappointment to the member Johnny and Ricky . John would o on to form THE BETTER PLACE GOSPEL GROUP and with co-founder of THE BETTER PLACE, Jimmy Leal they would produce the album titled THE BETTER PLACE in 1979. Appearing in local religiouse venues and making several appearances at Correctional Centers it was the only album that the group would release and John returned to doing secular music. This would lead John to write the tracks for PEOPLE, his 1984 secular album. For the next twenty-five years personnel family affairs and John's tumultuous relationships would prevent him from launching any music projects. He did manage to put together in 1992 rehearsal that led to his performance of PIG ON THE RUN at the Miller Theater in Houston, Texas. In 2005 John released the 25th Commemorative album cd. It contained some tracks from the 1984 POEOPLE album and all the tracks from the 1979, THE BETTER PLACE GOSPEL GROUP. John shelved the album and did not promote it. In 2010, John accepted a contract to make an appearance at WAREHOUSE LIVE in Houston Texas. Without a group , John contacted musicians he recently new thru his sister Connie, who had these musicians play at her CYBER CAFE MEXICAN in Spring Texas. Thru those musicians other musicians became aware of John's predicament and the matter was solved. A group was formed with the name JOHN RAMIREZ. The performance was a success. Currently now the group is preparing for a tour and look foreward to releasing dates and locations for JOHN RAMIREZ "IM NOT THE PEEK_O_BOO MAN TOUR' .
