The Bernasconi cocktail consists of equal portions of Campari, Cointreau, and grapefruit Vodka, stirred not shaken, served in a Martini glass topped up with fresh grapefruit juice and Prosecco or Champagne. It comes with either a grapefruit or orange wedge. Occasionally citron Vodka and fresh orange juice are substituted for grapefruit, but purists reject this as the original inspiration for the drink is to mix the bitter, the sweet, and the sour, which according to the German mystic Jakob Böhme (1575-1624) represented the Trinity. The Bernasconi was invited in August 2008 at Bari's Restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee and is now served all over the world.
Delta Phi Kappa (ΔΦΚ) (also known as Deltas) is an Asian American interest sorority established at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. Actively involved in events though the school, community, and southern California region, the organization prides itself on the well-rounded and distinctive qualities of each of its members. Because deltas are a single-chartered organization at USC, its active members all become USC alumni and remain closely connected to its sisters as well as the USC Trojan network.
History
In the spring of 1960, eleven Asian-coeds of the University of Southern California organized the need to foster sisterhood among Asian women, and to stimulate an intercultural exchange among themselves and their fellow students at USC. These eleven charter members, with the help of Miss Shirley Barclay, counselor of Women's Organizations, and the sponsor, Mrs. Theodore Chen, drew up the sorority constitution which was officially approved on May 6, 1960.
On June 10, 1960 these eleven young women were formally presented as the Delta Phi Kappa Sorority at the Thunderbird Hotel in El Segundo.

About
Purpose
Since being established in 1960, Delta Phi Kappa has strived to foster sisterhood among Asian American women and to raise cultural awareness. Deltas have continually supported the Asian American community through volunteer work, donations, political involvement, and spearheading cultural programs. As a whole, Deltas are a diverse group of well-rounded young women with five essential things in common: love for sisters, academic and career accomplishments, high aspirations, unbounded potential, and love of fun. As an organization, Delta Phi Kappa helps to shape its members into the women they want to become by providing advice, assistance, and most importantly, unwavering support.

Asian Greek Council
Delta Phi Kappa is an active charter of USC's Asian Greek Council (AGC). The USC Asian Greek Council is currently composed of three historically Asian sororities (including deltas) and two historically Asian fraternities. In addition, Delta Phi Kappa is part of a larger network, the Southern California Asian Greek Council, which currently comprises seventeen other Asian-interest organizations all throughout Southern California. The Southern California Asian Greek Council was founded in 1982 by Delta Phi Kappa's brother fraternity, Gamma Epsilon Omega, in which the first president was a member of Delta Phi Kappa.

Additionally, every year, the sorority plans events with various organizations part of USC's Panhellenic Council Sororities (PHC), Interfraternity Council Fraternities (IFC), Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), and National Panhellenic Council Sororities (NPHC).

ΚΣΣ (Kappa Sigma Sigma) is a local fraternity which was founded in 1916 at the University of Redlands. The fraternity headquarters is known as the "bird house" and it is located at 1235 Sylvan Blvd. Kappa Sigma Sigma currently has 25 active members and a well organized alumni association of over 1,000. Kappa Sigma Sigma is the only fraternity at the U of R which has never lost its charter.
History
Kappa Sigma Sigma was founded on May 10, 1916, by seven students at the University of Redlands. The seven founders met in the dental office of Dr. W. H. Heacock in the Fischer Building and seriously agreed upon the formation of the new fraternity which would have high ideals and be helpful to the school. It is significant that the early gatherings of the group were opened with a Scripture reading and a word of prayer. Leonard Cooper was elected as the First President and was an energetic and diplomatic leader. The first important move was the securing of Sawyer Hall as the first fraternity house. "Mother" Sawyer was the only house mother of Kappa Sigma Sigma. During this period the official colors were selected and the pin was designed by Fred D. Fagg, Jr. The grip, password, and whistle were adopted November 14, 1916.
Pledge Process
Kappa Sigma Sigma is known for its very difficult and secretive pledging process. The founders are credited with the drafting of the process and it is the responsibility of the Pledgemaster to ensure it is strictly adhered to. Those who complete the intensive program and enter into active membership are regarded as an elite group of men.
Notable Kappa Sig's
The fraternity has produced many notable individuals including:
*Warren Christopher - former U.S. Secretary of State
*Vern and Rich Stater - Sons of the founders of the fortune 500 company Stater Brothers
*Freddie Fagg, Jr. - former president of the University of Southern California
*Judge Pat Morris - Current mayor of San Bernardino, California.
*Richard C. Forde, founder of Premier Mortgage Services in Portland, Oregon.
Alumni Association
Kappa Sigma Sigma have very active alumni whose activities include the Rendezvous, the Buck of the Month Club, the Directory, and others. The Rendezvous is undoubtedly the highlight of alumni activities. This is a huge gathering of all Kappa Sigs, past and present. This day of fellowship is highlighted by the dinner where awards and presentations are given and where one may truly see fraternal spirit. The alumni always show interest in its active chapter as is demonstrated by the financial assistance the circle receives. Many house improvements have been financed by the alumni for the benefit of the active chapter.
The Bird House
Construction of the Bird House began in 1953 after the members of Kappa Sigma Sigma secured a $10,000 loan. The house sits on a lot in the middle of fraternity row at 1235 Sylvan Blvd. The property includes such amenities as a volleyball court, horseshoe and bonfire pits, outdoor cooking facilities, and plenty of room for social gatherings. A seasonal creek known as the Zank runs through the estate and a wooden bridge provides a passable crossing.
Kappa Sig’s are known to pride themselves on the condition of their fraternity headquarters and for a number of years it has been the only inhabited house on “the row”. In June 2006 the Bird House was closed because of a renovation on fraternity row. In January, 2007, the Bird House reopened to the fraternity. After months of work both the "Bird House" and Fraternity Row now have a 21st century look.
Recent history
Kappa Sigma Sigma has a long tradition of producing student leaders who excel in both academics and athletics. From 2004 - 2007 many Kappa Sig's served as elected A.S.U.R. Senators Chris Tucker, Colin Hoover, Alex Strand, Rusty Walker, Jason O'Donnell, Andrew McGraw, Troy Campbell. Also Ian Calpin and Alex Strand were two brothers that competed at the national level in Water Polo and Swimming .
Also Two have since been elected as University of Redlands Student Body President Jason O'Donnell for the 2005-2006 school year and Troy Campbell for the 2007 - 2008 school year.

The Shining Wizards is a professional wrestling blog which features discussion of current wrestling shows and organizations, such as World Wrestling Entertainment, Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Beyond Wrestling, East Coast Wrestling Association, as well as discussion of the history of professional wrestling, including defunct organizations such as American Wrestling Association, World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling. The site differentiates itself from other wrestling websites by incorporating less of news reporting on the industry and more on providing insight, discussion, and thought on specific topics. The site also encourages outside participation of the discussions through social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Their blog postings have been published by some of the biggest websites in the Internet Wrestling Community, including Wrestling Observer Figure 4 Online, 411mania.com, AngryMarks.com, and others.
History
The blog was first published on November 22, 2011, and introduced a discussion of Survivor Series 1987, the inaugural episode of the pay-per-view of the World Wrestling Federation, to commemorate the 24th Anniversary of the event. The page has fostered numerous discussions of wrestling of the present and the past, including the booking decisions for the characters John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Santino Marella, Zach Ryder, and others. The blog also questioned the booking of several recent events, including the decision of having Sheamus win the at Wrestlemania 28 in 18 seconds over then-champion Daniel Bryan.
Other topics included how a belt which represents a championship needs look important, how some wrestlers still struggle years later after becoming addicted to painkillers and illicit substances, and the travels of the average wrestling fan to independent shows around the country.
The blog has also become a forum for reviews of independent wrestling shows. Some featured organizations have included Beyond Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Syndicate, Ring of Honor, East Coast Professional Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, Extreme Reunion, and others.
Pro Wrestling Syndicate Supershow Controversy
On March 9, 2012, Pro Wrestling Syndicate hosted a supershow in Rahway, NJ. The event was the first promoted by the company with Pat Buck taking the reigns as head promoter. In promotion for the show, Pat appeared on an episode of the Shining Wizards Podcast and discussed his history and opinions on the business in depth. The Supershow was attended by the hosts of the Shining Wizards Podcast.
Tony and Matt both wrote reviews for the blog page. While both blog postings pointed out the negatives of the show, Matt's posting was considered especially harsh by Pat Buck. On his podcast, Two-and-a-Half Wrestlers, Pat along with co-hosts J-Silva and Kevin Matthews voiced their annoyance at the review posted by Matt. In response, Matt posted a reply in which he admitted his original review may have come across harshly.
The Shining Wizards Wrestling Podcast
On November 24, 2011, in conjunction with the blog, the Wizards launched a podcast called The Shining Wizards Wrestling Podcast. The show currently airs every Thursday on iTunes, Stitcher Radio, and on the blog page. As a supplement and continuation of the topics on the blog, the podcast also allows for weekly recaps of the world of professional wrestling. In addition, interviews with guests from within the wrestling industry are frequently broadcast, with past guests from the world of wrestling and entertainment including Nigel McGuinness, Justin Credible, Sam Roberts, Josh Daniels, Gabe Sapolsky, Rhett Titus, Jigsaw, Eddie Kingston, and Pat Buck.
Characters
The show is host to several characters in addition to the hosts:
*Otunga Bunga - An original creation of the Wizards, where the hosts tried to come up with a new character for wrestler David Otunga. He would be struck on the head backstage, lose his memory, and resort to a caveman character, complete with leopard print loincloth, club, and bowtie and collar.
*The Dingle Warrior - Host Matt Bowman's alter-ego, a Warrior-type character with facepaint similar to that of a mark left by excrement.
*Tickles - A professional wrestler who allegedly worked in World of Hurt Wrestling who was allegedly trained by Kevin Knight in the Independent Wrestling Federation and is of questionable sexuality.
*Satan - A recurring visitor who travels through the sewers and occasionally "pops up" to visit with Eddie and Tony. He tells his tales of involvement with the worst of wrestling. He also takes credit for celebrities' demises.
*Overweight Larry - A character who was involved with Satan's early radio career. He was the co-host of the "Wrestling Challengers," a show hosted by Satan that relied heavily on Satan's ability to 'see the future.' Larry suffers from diabetes and is prone to corpsing on the air.
Segments
While the show is free-form, there are a few recurring segments:
*Now You F***** Up - The opening segment of each episode, where the hosts correct mistakes made on previous episodes.
*Fireside Chats - Guests that do not make it to the studio are called on Skype and the hosts gather around one microphone. It makes the conversation more intimate, as if the guest was actually present. The name is derived from the famous fireside chats of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt from the Great Depression.
*Lists - The hosts frequently review wrestling lists, typically compiled by World Wrestling Entertainment. Matt brings and analyzes the lists, while Eddie and Tony "play along" with the audience in attempting to guess the entries.
*The Closing Number - The shows end with a wrestling related song. If a guest appeared on the show, the song is usually either associated with or chosen by the guest.
Call Time
Introduced as an accompanying show on May 21, 2012, Call Time is the concept of Tony Zatkos and is a frestyle supplement to the podcast. It provides the hosts with a short-form forum to discuss one or two important topics of the week. The show also permits the hosts individually or together to have more of a conversation instead of an interview with guests. Frequent contributor Daniel Lopez, an author of his own wrestling blog and a contributor to spinebuster.com, has appeared as a guest in the past.
