Disease
The term disease broadly refers to any condition that impairs normal function. Commonly, this term is used to refer specifically to infectious diseases, which are clinically evident diseases that result from the presence of pathogenic microbial agents, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, multicellular organisms, and aberrant proteins known as prions. An infection that does not and will not produce clinically evident impairment of normal functioning, such as the presence of the normal bacteria and yeasts in the gut, is not considered a disease; by contrast, an infection that is asymptomatic during its incubation period, but expected to produce symptoms later, is usually considered a disease. Non-infectious diseases are all other diseases, including most forms of cancer, heart disease, and genetic disease.
Healthiness is what everyone wants and so everyone need to work hard in order to remain healthy, some matters need to be address in inner and outer part of every society, especially in Africa, where women are practising road side business, selling fried feeds. where people can easily have access and satisfy their desires. MAIN PROBLEM with this business is lack of proper handling, as they use the same naked hand can be use (no handglove) to collect money from their costumers and serve them with it and at the same time without washing their hands. Imaging you touch money with your hand and straightly put it in your mouth. Can you count the amount of bacteria, fungal, protozoa etc, that have been transmitted into your mouth? so don't be surprise to hear that, people who sold local beans cake in some parts of west Africa, buy and sold diseases among themselves.
Akara is what is mostly people called it instead of the English name, beans cake. The dominated language in west Africa in their mother tongue of Hausa language called it KOSE. Hence this has been part of them ever since, and so it need be addressed to help and prevent further spread of this disease. Although, there are many health control agencies and programmes in the country. But then, this is a simple way that contributed greatly in spreading so many diseases that some are not even discovered by physicians.
Medical condition
A medical condition is a broad term that includes all diseases and disorders. While the term medical condition generally includes mental illnesses, in some contexts the term is used specifically to denote any illness, injury, or disease except for mental illnesses. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), the widely used psychiatric manual that defines all mental disorders, uses the term general medical condition to refer to all diseases, illnesses, and injuries except for mental disorders. This usage is also commonly seen in the psychiatric literature. Some health insurance policies also define a medical condition as any illness, injury, or disease except for psychiatric illnesses.
