in 1829. Jackson said in hid inauguration
address the “The Federal Constitution must
be obeyed, state rights preserved, our
national debt must be paid,direct taxes
and loans avoided, and the federal union
preserved.” Jackson introduced the Spoils
System, and formed the “Kitchen Cabinet”which
was a group of advisers who meet in the back
of the White House.

The 2007 Jimbo Wales video appeared on on October 23, 2007. In the video, Jimbo Wales explains that as founder of , the Wikimedia Foundation needs donations in order to develop Wikimedia projects more thoroughly in different languages. The video sets out the project's missions and shows Wales speaking to people in several countries including India and South Africa, showing how people in such countries utilise and other Wikimedia projects as a source of knowledge where knowledge is not readily available otherwise.
THE SHOW
Live with Mitch and Paige, a local television show in Grand Rapids is hosted by Mitch Harvatin and Paige Fawcett. Live with Mitch and Paige has been on GRTV since August of 2007. Since August Live with Mitch and Paige has been the only local “Teen Show” for the Grand Rapids area.
ABOUT THE HOSTS
Mitch Harvatin, 14 lives in Rockford and attends Rockford Public Schools. Harvatin has two (2) brothers, Chasse (11) and Jacob (9). Harvatin has two (2) parents, Pete who is an Organizer for the Carpenters Local 100 and Stacey who owns a Jewelry Store in Grand Rapids. Harvatin has been a member at the Community Media Center since mid 2005 and started “3-Minute Rant” which has been replaced with “Live with Mitch and Paige”. Harvatin plans on being a journalist when he’s older and wants to go to Grand Valley State University or Ferris State University for broadcasting.
Paige Fawcett, 14 lives in Rockford and attends Rockford Public Schools. More information still to come.
HISTORY OF THE SHOW
Before “Live with Mitch and Paige” it was the show “3-Minute Rant” a local rant and/ or rave show. In mid 2007 Paige Fawcett was promoted to the desk and that’s when producers started to come up with a new theme of the show. In August of 2007, producers got it, a new theme a show for teens in the community, they called the new show “Live with Mitch and Paige”. Since August, 2007 producers got to work, with new graphics, a new set and a new intro. At the end of August Live with Mitch and Paige was on the air with a sneak preview for the next week (August 27th) to kick off the season premiere! In October of 2007, Live with Mitch and Paige wanted to expand because it’s only on for 30 minutes (7:30-8:00 PM) so we put our Special Projects manger to work and they got a new show already planned. “Mornings with Mitch and Paige”. “Mornings with Mitch and Paige” kicked off in November, 2007 at 11 AM. The show is still LIVE in the GRTV-Studios. It has different segments “Weekend Movies” and “Weekend Adventures”. “Mornings with Mitch and Paige” is still a 30 minute show.

Live with Mitch and Paige is a big show with guests each week. With a big show that means we need a big crew. Live with Mitch and Paige has about 15 crew members to help set up the show and help put it on.
