Vantage Markets (formerly Vantage FX) is a global multi-asset brokerage firm that offers access to Contracts for Difference (CFDs) on foreign exchange, commodities, indices, stocks, and cryptocurrencies. Vantage Markets was founded in 2010 and operates under regulatory licenses in several jurisdictions such as Australia and South Africa and provides online trading platforms for retail and institutional clients.
Vantage Markets provides access to financial instruments through MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), and its proprietary trading platforms.
History
The company was originally founded as Vantage FX in 2010. It later merged with MXT Global, aiming at more presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
In 2015, Vantage FX acquired Atom8, a UK-based brokerage firm regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
In 2021, the company rebranded from Vantage FX to Vantage Markets. By 2023, Vantage had expanded its Copy trading infrastructure, added support for multi-currency accounts, and integrated with TradingView to enhance charting capabilities for users.
In January 2024, Vantage also increased leverage on index CFDs and added Singapore and Taiwan indices to its trading platform in the same year. In April 2024, Vantage Markets launched an educational initiative aimed at beginner traders and introduced a podcast on Spotify. The following year, the company launched its organizational project, Vantage Connect, designed for UK-based clients.
Sponsorships and partnerships
In 2022, Vantage became a sponsor of McLaren Racing's Extreme E team. In 2023, the company partnered with automotive content creator Supercar Blondie for a series of digital campaigns. In 2024, Vantage signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Scuderia Ferrari HP, becoming the official partner of the Formula 1 racing team.
