BugnuX is a computer operating system which can be used as a live CD. It is a PCLinuxOS based Linux distribution.
BugnuX is aimed at helping tester software testers in setting up test labs with essential open source tools for testing software. Similarly test consultants need not worry about what tools are available with clients. Having testing tools that users are familiar with in a LiveCD, readily available, will get them to start testing quickly and easily without bothering to get accustomed to a new work environment or trying to acquire new skills. The bundled software includes the key ingredients for functional testing of applications including: Jacareto (a Java GUI testing tool), (a Java GUI testing tool); Web Application Testing tools including: Selenium, Molybdenum; and Load testing tools: curl-loader.
Contents
BugnuX uses the new E17 desktop environment as the primary desktop environment. Since E17 is still in beta, fluxbox is also provided as an alternative desktop environment. BugnuX is intended to run as any commonly used OS and so the [http://www.bugnux.org/index.php?optioncom_content&taskview&id12&Itemid35 package list] includes all commonly used applications, that any normal user would need. BugnuX has it's own repository for the open source software testing tools and E17 packages, which are well maintained.
Bugnux also has some standard mozilla add-ons readily available in order to aid in software testing and user experience.
The most significant add-ons include:
*Quick Locale Switcher
*Console²
*Server Switcher
*CookieSwap
*DOM Inspector
*LiveHTTPHeaders

is an online radio station that was first launched in February of 2006. They've become a website dedicated to providing enlightening content that is intended to provide positive guidance utilizing metaphysical subject matter. While much of their programs take on metaphysical subjects or contain metaphysical elements such as psychics, astrology, tarot and weird science, they apply them to every day events such as love and relationships, politics, sports and celebrity news events.
Active Programs
The Cosmic Sutra : An astrology themed program where callers are invited to call in, ask questions and get answers based on their astrological make up. Hosted by love astrologer Cortney Litwin and co-host Amaya Brecher - formerly of MTV The Real World Hawaii.
Between The Sheets: Hosted by Sarah J. Symonds author of "Having an Affair?". The program covers the elements of forbidden love, including the host's own experiences as the "other woman". Discussions cover all angles of what you can expect from having an affair - both the good and bad. Guests also appear who have some expertise in the field, or secrets regarding others whom have had affairs.
Karmagenics: The primary subject matter is metaphysical healing. Host Regina Richardson M.S., LCST, covers topics including Hypnosis, Somatic Therapy and Meditation techniques.
Enlightening Relationships: Is hosted by Carol Allen, a Vedic Astrologer and relationship coach. The subject matter deals with all angles of building a wonderful and loving relationship with your partner and exploring how relationships work.
Stargazing is hosted by the Mtv Real World alumni, Amaya Brecher and a psychic named Tanya. The primary subject matter is celebrity news and the entertainment industry. Each week the latest celebrity events are discused by Amaya, and the psychic Tanya provides insights into what she believes will occur. Amaya typically provides a brutal recap of the news events as she sees them. She is particularly mean to Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.
New Directions New Directions is hosted by Sean Perlmutter and Libby Gill, personal coach and best selling author of Traveling Hopefully. This show is formatted to "empower people to live a better life."
Dark Matter Hosted by Michael Parker and sometimes Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumni Emma Caulfield, the program covers topics that are widely missed by the mainstream media, including topics categorized as paranormal, metaphysical, extraterrestrial, the conspiratorial, the political and sometimes the utterly absurd. It is much like Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and Art Bell.
Inactive Programs
Karmaball: Karmaball's mission was to apply the art of astrology in a scientific manner by utilizing statistical comparison. In order to achieve this result, fantasy games were utilized to pit the host, Rev. Halofan against other competitors. Simply using a player's birthdate, Rev. Halofan provided eerily accurate predictions on how the player would perform in the 2007 season, as well as the likelihood of injuries and slumps. Throughout the season, predictions such as the date of and
the to get into the playoffs were made. However, there were predictions also made that did not come to fruition, such as the . Ultimately the Rev. Halofan placed in the top one half of one percent in the Sporting News Fantasy Baseball game he was playing by only utilizing astrology to pick his team. With the end of the baseball season, the show ended.
Unlimited Thinking was hosted by Sean Perlmutter and Amy Chaffee, and was billed as the "internet’s most provocative human interest variety show". The show consisted of segments such as the "Emotional Hypodermic" in which callers and guests were put into situations where difficult ethical choices were made, The Sports Romp, in which unethical conduct of athletes were discussed and, guest interviews. Past guests included, , and .

TV-Links.co.uk was a website which contained links to television programming from around the world and movies submitted by users. No actual content was hosted on TV-Links, all content was hosted on external websites. As such, it was thought safe from legal action until the arrest of the site owner, only known as 'Sin', on 18 October 2007.
Format
Most videos linked to on the site were in Flash Video format, the same format used by many other recent video sharing websites such as YouTube. In addition, many videos were in DivX format, at a much higher quality, comparable to videos provided by Freeview and other digital broadcasters.
Historical context and significance
Beginning with the original Napster program that allowed internet users to search for and download MP3 files, with the majority being copyrighted works, the internet has a long history of facilitating the illegal distribution of copyrighted materials. After Napster was shut down, other networks and protocols sprang up, one of the most successful being the BitTorrent protocol. With the advent of video streaming sites like YouTube and Google Video, users can now upload TV shows and movies. As copyrighted materials violate the terms of their hosting services, they are routinely deleted and so there was a desire to create a regularly updated index facilitating the location of available content. TV Links was one of the most popular of this breed of indexes. It was the 26th most popular internet site in the UK (beating Sky.com) and 43rd in the US (beating Netflix.com) before its shutdown, and 0.4% of global internet users were accessing the site.
Legality
General
The legality of this site could be compared to BitTorrent indexing sites like The Pirate Bay or the original Napster program, in that the site did not actually host the files, but only provided links to the files which are hosted on external sites.
The legal page of the site contained the following disclamier:
Shutdown by UK government
On 18 October 2007, the owner of TV-Links was arrested by the Gloucestershire Police in cooperation with FACT. The site was also shut down.
Implications
The forced closure of this site raises a difficult question as outlined in the following quote from an article in the Guardian Unlimited:
