Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui Road (نثار احمد صدیقی روڈ), formerly known as Airport Road, is a major municipal thoroughfare located in Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan. The road connects the central city transportation networks to the Sukkur Airport. In December 2020, it was officially renamed by the Sukkur Municipal Corporation to honor the lifelong educational and public services of the late Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, a prominent civil servant and the founding Vice-Chancellor of Sukkur IBA University.

History and Renaming

Historically constructed as Airport Road, the route served as the primary link between central Sukkur and its regional airport. Following the establishment of the permanent campus of the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration (now Sukkur IBA University) along this corridor in 2003, the road grew into a prominent institutional hub.

Following the death of the university's founder, Professor Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, in June 2020, public and administrative circles petitioned to memorialize his contribution to regional higher education. On December 23, 2020, the Sukkur Municipal Corporation issued a formal notification officially renaming the entire length of the infrastructure to Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui Road.

The road originates from the multi-way intersection linking Military Road and Shikarpur Road, a terminal point designated as Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui Chowk. It proceeds northbound, passing through urban and suburban residential communities including the Delhi Muslim Housing Society.
